Owner Hazel Brown sought a creative outlet when she decided on a career as a stay-at-home mom after the birth of her son in 2004. Growing up, she dabbled in all sorts of arts and crafts, such as drawing and painting to cross-stitching and knitting and found a true love for paper along the way. She designed her own wedding invitations and soon found herself creating invitations for friends’ showers, weddings and birthdays. When a childhood friend taught her to sew her first handbag, she instantly fell in love with the colorful fabrics and the marriage of paper and fabrics was inevitable...hazel brown designs was born in 2006.

Two years later and after the birth of her fourth child, hazel brown has
added more “goodies” to her collection such as burp cloths and bibs and even children’s clothing. She continues to work on new designs for home goods as well as designs to add to her current handbag, stationery and baby collections. The colorful fabric selection and designs keep the hazel brown goodies always hip, always fun and always unique!
