Schatzi

A new Canadian kids clothing line that is breaking into the market! Schatzi wear was inspired by two long-time friends, Judy and Tanja. The name “schatzi,” which means small treasure in German, was a word commonly used in their homes while growing up, and it has become a term of endearment for their own kids.

The pair is always on the lookout for simple yet cool clothing they want to buy – and their kids want to wear. Combining their affinity for sweetness with the edge of American style, they designed a clothing line to keep their small treasures fashionable and comfortable.

With a concern for small treasures around the world, Judy and Tanja ensure their line is sweatshop free. All clothing is 100% North American made. Wanting to keep the planet healthy for generations to come, they make environmental choices in the office and with their clothing! Their 2010 Spring/Summer line uses bamboo and organic cotton and is made in Calgary, AB. Great dresses, jumpsuits and a fabulous new “Mini Maxi” Dress! schatzi also makes a donation to SOS Villages for any online sales!

Spot Light on Spoiled Little Mama

If you think nothing exciting is happening in the design of children's clothing, then you haven't seen Spoiled Little Mama. This couture fashion line features mod dresses, bathing suits, and accessories for girls sizes 2 through 10. Their company believes that little girls like the same posh details and refreshing textiles as adults, and strives to bring those delightful elements of vogue design into every creation.

But Spoiled Little Mama also goes beyond young girls fashion. They also offer women's shirts for the proud mommies of little fashionistas, and have found a high demand for their very stylish diaper bags. Finally, a trendsetting mom can stay organized and still accessorize like she deserves to! These bags, made of various vintage fabrics, crystal buckles, and just the right amount of fringe, have become so popular that even women without babies are buying them to use as purses and tote bags.

This month, Spoiled Little Mama contributed to Style Cafe Mom's Ra Ra for the Ta Ta's celebrity gift bags, which supported Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Their donated pink diaper bags were a gorgeous, unique addition to the collection.
Check out their website for a great exhibit of their clothing, accessories, and diaper bags.
