The Luxe Design MAKE IT YOUR OWN line of jewelry lets you create your own personalized, meaningful jewelry by adding words, names or personal sayings to our unique selection of customizable charms. You can then select your own ideal length and style of chain, choose from our meaningful and symbolic charms, and add color with their gemstone beads.

The Luxe Design line has been developed over the years in response to our customer’s desires. First, they had many requests for their charms to be available separately. Then, people began asking to put their own words and name on the jewelry. Luxe Design responded and since then, their line has been a co-creative process with their customers. This was a natural transition for them. As the owners are both designers, they have been inspired by each other’s designs and have been creating jewelry together since the inception of their business. Their unique perspective and aesthetic combined with the meaningful stories and desires of their customers has resulted in the unique look and feel of Luxe Design Jewelry.

All of Luxe Design pieces are hand stamped by humans. Every letter is placed as precisely as possible but there will be some slight variations in the lettering, they like to say that you can see “the artist’s hand” in each piece they make. This is what gives the Luxe Design line so much personality.

Joanne Hart and Andrea Mueller are the two inventive minds behind Luxe Design. Based out of Vancouver, they met while students in the Jewelry Art and Design program at Vancouver Community College. Upon graduation, the pair started Luxe Design in August of 1995. Before studying jewelry design, Joanne completed a degree in sculpture at the University of Calgary, while Andrea attended the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design.
