Tara and Justin Rubin first came across the sling when it was given to them as a gift before the birth of their first son. While the traditional way to use the rebozo is to tie it with a knot, this sling has been modified in order to provide ease of use, and added safety for the baby. The sling is no longer tied, but rather woven through two unbreakable nylon rings to create a comfortable and secure pouch in which the baby can nestle. Our slings are made from 100% breathable cotton, and each piece is hand finished with our signature macramé fringe. The rings used on the hold me baby sling have been tested to a stress weight of 2500 lbs.
