If it weren't for humor, it would be difficult to survive parenthood. And for many of us, we would have checked into the proverbial funny farm long ago. It starts out with a bang - and never lets up. On a more serious note, Sara plans to “give back, literally”. 10% of all proceeds from Snugfits™ are donated to Surfers Healing, a foundation near and dear to her heart. Her oldest son, Gavin, has been diagnosed with Autism, a lifelong neurological disorder that impairs normal functioning of the brain, impacting development in the areas of social interaction and communication skills. She started enrolling Gavin in the Surfers Healing camps when he was 2 years old. The camps are free to families who want to participate. The children are offered sensory relief and calmness on the water, along with a sense of pride and accomplishment on the surf board.
