Heather Segersten, otherwise known as “Mookie” grew up outside of DC in Virginia. Emily Lamphere, who grew up in Pittsburgh, PA met Heather at James Madison University where they were placed together as freshman year roommates. They never stopped being roommates until they left their Alma Mater. Emmy & Mookie had always wanted to start their own company.
